I had the sudden urge to write a journal.

I have finally (sort of) made a proper start on my summer projects, at least I've done work for one of them three days consecutively after floundering about and doing a half hearted doodle every two weeks for unrelated parts of projects. I know that one final piece I do will involve birds and a cage, why I would do that after this my 'love the birds' piece, I have no idea, I'm not that keen on drawing birds, I'm not very good at it, I've gotten better from working on that last image but eh and while I do enjoy drawing cages I'm not good at getting them to look right... practice makes perfect I guess. I had a long list of word 'ingredients' to choose from and I chose 'birdcage' as one of the ones to use so it's my own fault but I have a nice image in mind, hopefully the execution of it will go smoothly.

For another project, the one I've been working on the last few days we have to draw 10 small objects, and do several studies of them before moving on to the next part of that project. I'm finding this quite boring, not all of it, however when drawing from life I prefer to draw living things or buildings, maybe it's my fault for not choosing interesting enough objects but :s maybe I'll switch to the other project for a bit.

On another note, I have dyed part of my hair turquoise (again) I prefer it when it's faded a bit after a few days to a minty colour.

Hmm that's probably all I have to say, not that I had much to say to begin with.
